The Information Centre is located on the Monaro Highway within the historic Bombala Railway Park precinct along with the Lavender House Museum, Old Railway Station and Historic Engine Shed.

Bombala Cup are a popular family-friendly country race day held at the Bombala Racecourse, typically on the third Saturday in October (Caulfield Cup Day), offering a full race program, TAB, bar, food, and Fashions on the Field. The event is a highlight for the Bombala district, drawing big crowds with its community spirit and local racing action, with recent events featuring six-race programs and bus services from town.
The Bombala Australia Day celebrations uniquely blend national pride with local agricultural tradition and are primarily held at the Bombala Exhibition Ground (Showground). A highlight of the festivities is the Annual Shearing Competition, which has been the headline event for around 50 years. The competition features regional shearers across multiple categories, including the prestigious NSW Strong Wool Championships.

Bombala Historic Railway opened in 1921. It is a precast concrete building with a tin goods shed. The goods shed houses a small museum and lavender distilling plant. It also has a turntable and weighbridge . The line is known as the Goulburn Bombala line with Bombala the end of the line.
The station and information structure is almost complete. A well maintained precinct ground with easy access to all parts of the station .
